Katie Cayden is getting a fine education, in fact it's coming at a great expense to her parent's who are very important people in the business banking industry. Often times the students of the wealthy experience the luxury of a private, high cost tutor educator who can give their full attention to a student. Katie's parents want her to follow in their footsteps, so they hired Mr. John Taylor for the job.

He has a history of working with those of means, and guiding a student to exceptional heights. When Mr. Taylor took the position of educating Katie, he was given notice by her Daddy that she could be stubborn and sassy, and that corporal punishment may be needed, and that it may have to be applied often.
